Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the TrustCirq mobile application or website (the "Service") operated by TrustCirq ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use TrustCirq. By registering an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this condition.

2. Account Registration

To use TrustCirq, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
  • Keep your password secure and not share it with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

TrustCirq is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.

3. User Responsibilities

By using TrustCirq, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
  • Not use the platform to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any illegal financial activity
  • Treat all group members respectfully and honestly
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
  • Not upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content

4. Group Savings and Contributions

TrustCirq provides a platform to help groups organise and track contributions and payouts. You understand and agree that:

  • TrustCirq is a coordination tool, not a bank, financial institution, or licensed payment processor.
  • We do not hold, transfer, or guarantee funds contributed between members.
  • Disputes between group members regarding contributions or payouts are the responsibility of the group and its members. TrustCirq provides records to support resolution but is not a party to such disputes.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that your group activities comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

5. Fees

TrustCirq may offer free and paid plans. If applicable, fees will be clearly disclosed before you are charged. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new fees.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, code, and materials in the Service are the property of TrustCirq or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to other users or the platform. You may also delete your account at any time. See our Delete Account page for instructions.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no representations about the accuracy or completeness of any content on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrustCirq and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, goodwill, or profits arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Unauthorised access to your account
  • Actions or omissions of other group members
  • Any bugs, errors, or inaccuracies in the Service

Our total liability to you for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, failing that, through binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction in which TrustCirq operates.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
